Manage Customer

The "Manage Customer" page in the KSB Meat program allows you to add, edit, and manage customer information. Here are the steps to effectively use the "Manage Customer" feature:

Step 1: Access the Manage Customer Page

  • Log in to the KSB Meat program and navigate to the "Manage Customer" page in File Maintenance.

Step 2: Add a New Customer

  • To add a new customer, click on the "Add New Customer" button. This will open a form where you can enter the customer's details.

Step 3: Enter Customer Information

  • Please make sure that you provide the required information, including:

    • Customer number

    • Customer name

    • Customer Region

    • Customer category

    • Payment terms

    • Minimum delivery amount

    • Credit limit.

  • Optional fields may include payment terms, credit limit, salesperson, or other details specific to your business.

Step 4: Save Customer Information

  • Once you have entered the customer's information, click on the "Save" button to save the customer record in the system.

Step 5: Edit Customer Information

  • To edit an existing customer's information, locate the customer in the customer list and click on the "Edit" button in the action column. This will allow you to make changes to their details.

Step 6: Update Customer Details

  • Update the necessary information for the customer, such as address or other contact information.

Step 7: Save Updated Customer Information

  • After making the necessary changes, click on the "Save" button to save the updated customer information in the system.

Step 8: Delete / Deactivate a Customer (if applicable)

  • If you need to delete or deactivate a customer, locate the customer in the customer list and click on the "Delete" button. Note that this action may have certain implications, so use it carefully and make sure it does not affect any other transactions.

Note: If the customer has been involved in a sale order, it can only be deleted after considering the implications on associated data or transactions; alternatively, you can choose to deactivate the customer account to preserve records while temporarily suspending any sale to them .

Step 9: Search and Filter Customers

  • Use the search and filter options provided on the Manage Customer page to locate specific customers based on their names, account numbers, or other related information. This can help you find and manage customer records more efficiently.

By utilizing the Manage Customer page in the KSB Meat program, you can add, edit, and manage customer information, ensuring accurate records of your customers.
