Customer Price List Setup

Step 1: Access the "New Customer Price List" Page

  • Navigate to the "New Customer Price List" page in file maintenance.

Step 2: Provide Customer Price List Details

  • On the "New Customer Price List" page, you will find some fields to fill in. These include:

    • Price List Name

    • Price List Description

    • Default Customer (optional)

    • Status

    • Remark

  • Set the status to Active if in use.

  • Click save to finalize the price list creation.

  • After saving the price list, you will see the new price list along with other existing price lists. However, the new price list will be empty.

Step 3: Add an effective date for the Price List

  • You can set an effective date range for the set price list.

  • Click on the icon under the effective date column for the new price list.

  • On this page, simply enter the effective start and end dates, and click on "Add Effective Date".

Step 3: Adding Products to the Price List

  • Click on the appropriate Products icon. If the price list is empty, you will see the number "0" indicating an empty list.

  • This page displays all the products associated with the price list. Since it is empty, click on "Add Product to PriceList."

  • You have the option to add products individually

  • If adding products individually, search for the desired products by name, code, or category.

  • Select the products you want to include in the price list and click on "Add".

  • To verify that the products have been added to the list, look at the Price List page, as it will display all included items in the price list.

Step 4: Setting Prices for the Products

  • Now let's work on setting the prices for the products in the price list.

  • For each product in the price list, specify the corresponding price based on your pricing strategy.

  • Enter the price value in the designated field or column next to each product.

Step 5: Saving the Price List

  • Once you have added all the products and set their prices, review the details for accuracy.

  • Once confirmed, you may click on "Close"

Step 6: Creating Price Lists for Specific Customers

  • To create price lists for specific customers, click on the Customers icon. If it currently displays "0," it means the price list will apply to everyone.

  • Click "Add Customer" to add customers to the current price list.

  • Choose the customers you want to associate with this price list.

  • Once you are done, return back to the "price list" page.

You have successfully created a new price list with an effective start date, and it is now ready to use!
