Manage GL Chart of Account

Introduction: This instruction manual will guide you through the process of adding, editing, and deleting accounts on the general ledger using the platform.

Step 1: View Existing Accounts

  • Upon entering the GL Chart Account Management section, you will see a table displaying all accounts currently in the system.

Step 2: Edit or Delete Existing Accounts

  • You have the option to edit or delete existing accounts in the table.

  • Use caution when deleting sub accounts; only delete if you are sure they have never been used in the system before.

Step 3: Edit an Existing Account

  • To edit an account, click on the "Edit" option associated with that account.

  • You can change the account type, description, and parent (if applicable) of the account.

Step 4: Add a New Sub Account

  • To add a new sub account, fill out the required information located above the account table.

  • Click the "Add" button to create the new sub account.
