Bounce Check

Step 1: Access Posted Payment List

  • Navigate to the Posted Payment List section.

  • Select the Bounce Check option.

Step 2: Search or Select the Payment

  • Use the search bar or select the desired payment from the table.

  • Click on the Bounce button.

Step 3: Fill Out Return Check Fee

  • A new window will appear prompting you to enter the Return Check Fee.

  • This fee represents the additional charge imposed by the bank.

Step 4: Process the Bounce Check

  • The system will mark the invoice back to Unpaid.

  • A new invoice with NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) will be generated for collection from the customer.

Step 5: Submit and Confirm

  • Click Submit to finalize the process.

  • A confirmation message will appear.

Step 6: View Bounce Check History

  • If you want to review processed bounce checks, navigate to Bounce Check History.

  • A list of bounce check invoices will be displayed.

Important Notes:

  • The Return Check Fee is the amount charged by the bank in addition to the bounced payment.

  • The system automatically updates the invoice status to unpaid.

  • A new invoice with NSF allows you to collect the fee from the customer.
